New Rotozip grinder with dust collection-for cutting cement board

FYI to everyone that uses cement board...this tool is new to our company (since last Fall).

When attached to a good vac, and when the cut is made pulling the tool toward the user (rather than pushing away ), dust collection is nearly 100%.:hurray:

If you use a lot of cement board or Hardi, you'll love this and your lungs will feel better, as well.

I'll have to check the model # on Monday.

Blade life is good...I'd say the current blade has made all the cuts on ~30 sheets, plus countless pieces of porcelain....and it's still sharp enough.

I thought you lads over there would use shears ?

I've used the shears on Hardi board, but I was told that they don't work well on cement board. I'll have to look into that again, though. The brand I know here is KETT.
