New slate plates ?

Watched Sunday brunch this morning on CH4, and he served up the meal on a piece of slate, good job there was no peas or gravy, :clown:

i had a dinner a few weeks ago,where we each had a slate like them, then the meat/sea food came raw ! then a big stone that was white-hot was put on a stand on the table, then you selected your meat/fish and cooked it fresh on the hot stone, then had it with your veg/salad ,it was very nice.........

Oh i dunno the Slate I saw recently could hold lots of gravy and peas.

That sounds fantastic. Im a bit of a foodie.......sounds like my idea of a good meal

my other halfs been creative like that for years some times we eat food off the oven trays, bottom of microwave and as a treat if i dont come home when i say she puts it on the slate next to the cats bowls. Does stain the grout a bit tho.
