Been hovering for a while, finally got around to joining at last, so just want to say hi

Just a blast from the past for all you other old timers....Anyone remember:

Chicken tiles (texture vein) and how many of you put the chickens the right way up and pointed it out as you left the job?

Cristal Arpeggio Natural whites with those stupid butterflies?

Oh where has all the fun gone???

Hi to all you newbies to, welcome to the wonderful world of tiling...It sucks (at times) :mad2:
You can officially be a professional when you know the name of every tile of every house you've ever tiled but can't remember the customers name
When you know every tile in every service station from where you live to the other end of the country and you didn't do the tiling hee hee
When you can spot a 3mm grout line in a 2mm wall from 100 yards
When you no longer watch the adverts or programmes on tv for the programme, just to knock the state of the tiling, and say to your partner - HAVE YOU SEEN THE SIZE OF THAT GROUT LINE???!!!!
