New to the business....

Hope your all well, new to the forum and will be new to tiling in the new year!

Looking to start a new career in tiling in the new year, still yet to decide on a course but after reading a few threads here it looks like 4 weeks is going to be the way forward, your thoughts would be appreciated!

Also if you've got any pointers or ideas that could help me I would be really grateful.

:welcome:Clipboard 2008, 4 week coarse OK to start, but try and get on with local pro tiler. Its like learning to drive, your driving instructor teaches you how to pass the test. You then start learning how to drive. Good luck.

Once i had completed my course (4 weeks), I did a few jobs in my own home (kitchen, bathroom and hall) and then started to advertise for work. I phoned round a few tilers and asked if i could simply watch until the work came in. You will learn more from an experienced tiler. Good luck
