Hi all,

been prowling on here for a few days and must say I'm most impressed with the forum, especially the "Gallery" section.

As for me, well I've got a smallish bathoom to tile in the near future (floor and walls), so I'll be looking for advice, good tips and maybe some ideas.

I was just returning a bit of banter.

To be honest, after reading about the changes in the Industry Standards I can understand him being upset. I'd hope that these Industry changes are going to make some provision for talented craftsmen who don't yet have their NVQs !

Through the Experienced Worker route. Look at the CITB website, or phone Chase Tiling Academy.

It really isn't a big issue to hold of you know guys - the myth of having to study for hours etc is just what it is - total myth.

The Health and Safety stuff can be done in half a day, it really isn't difficult.

Its all to do with producing evidenrce that you have done the work (Invoices, references, pics, method statement etc) and a visual assessment by an assessor to see you doing the job on site, whenther it be in somebody's house or on the new builds.
