New Website

Hi Guys...am after some feedback (be nice though!). I have finally got my new website up and running... www.chrismartintiling.com Have a look and let me know what you think? I can have a look at adding links on to it, if you do likewise with mine...but it may take a while as the person who has done it is very busy and I don't know what I am doing on it ... yet! Thanks to Andy Carroll for a bit of inspiration too

Just had a good look Chris and i think it's Great ! all the info your prospective customer would need to know on there mate a few good-links will help you get to the top in the rankings + put a link in your signature and post a lot on this forum and any others you are on and it all helps with optimisation ..........

One thing i noticed though. Your menu links seem to be going to your static ip address and not your domain name.

hi chris when you click on a menu item it goes to 79.170.44.120( menu item selected) and not www.chrismartintiling.com/(menu item selected)

not sure what that means, but its not normal, afaik, but i'm no expert

Exactly that Chris. The script for your website i think needs a little tweaking on the code. Likely your man wrote it before your domain name was up and running so pointed it to your ip address instead.
Every website name or internet location/computer has an ip address. We just use domain names and text because its easier to remember and has more relevance than a string of numbers.
Should be a simple 5 minute fix for your web designer.
