Hi there,
I'm an engineer in Dublin, with a very keen interest for tools work. Haven't done too much tiling before (mostly repair), but I'm starting with a very small cloakroom bathroom this week.
My house was built terribly during the 'boom' - I am concerned about the thickness of the skim over plasterboard walls. I asked for 'light' tiles, but still concerned. Should I plywood the walls over existing plasterboard & skim?
Using 250 x 400 x 5 mm matt white ceramic tiles - was initially just going to remove paint, sand and prime with acrylic primer.
Thanks & hello again,
Dave
