When you start to panic, stop and stand back. I know where your coming from, i did a job about 6 months ago, first job with travertine, ithought it would take me 4 days, it ended up taking over 2 weeks, i was really stressed, almost packed tiling in after that, but when your finished and customer loves the job, you just want to do it again.:whatchutalkingabout

Eddie my first job was a limestone floor and it nearly broke me, everyday i got myself into a tiss but the customer was bouncing round afterwards so that was very uplifting, i can remember breaking loads to start, barn conversion so loads of cuts going to give myself more time have breaks etc cheers for the response lads made me feel loads better cheers..

I remember doing a small downstairs toilet. Tiling half way up the walls and the floor, thought it should be quick and easy as only about 2sqm.......WRONG!! I had to box in some pipes and the toilet and sink remained in (customer wouldn`t take them out and i`m no plumber), so many cuts!! Took me 4 days!! I remember feeling like i should pack it in cos i got really stressed but when you`re finished and look back at the work it never seems that bad!
