hi there,

Found this site via the uk plumbers forum. I'm a newly qualified gas engineer from Scotland. I have done some tiling in the past and I'm about to take on my own bathroom soon.

I enjoy DIY and have a good head for it. Looking forward to learning more and will hopefully have some nice pics to post of my bathroom refurb in the next month or so.

What do you think of this website compared to that one? I'll be porting UKPF over to this same software soon.

I like the lay out of this one. I haven't been on UKPF for too long but it's easy to navigate through but so is this. Both have been good learning tools for me so far. Amazing the things you can pick up on here!

I was paid off from offshore last year due to the downturn and have just finished my SVQ level 3 in gas installation and maintenance. I start a new job in August sub contracting for a company that works for Scottish Gas so I'm looking forward to starting.

In the mean time I have my bathroom to sort out haha
