My local Tesco already has a fully decorated xmas tree in the entrance.

Was it the coca cola advert with the trucks? I've not seen it yet, but when that is aired on TV it's official that xmas has started. The shops might start months before hand but as soon as you see those trucks and "holidays are coming, holidays are coming......" it's officially the winter season.
