You're meant to be able to see them to ugh apparently. I can't. Błt overcast.

If you class the street lights in the northeast as the northern lights , then Ye , otherwise , Nah!!!!

I never see it when they say we should be able to it's really annoying

I don't think so Marc no, it was some solar flares that headed our way a week or so ago and hit the earths magnetosphere yesterday and up to about 3am. Apparently could see it even here in the midlands so I thought the likes of Howe up north might have had an awesome view.

Maybe the street lights drowned it out.

I even stopped a mates house in the sticks so there wasn't any light pollution but there were a lot of clouds.

I've never seen the damn things and it annoys me when they make me stop up looking Pmsl

Oh that's a shame, looks like I'm just gonna have to fork out for a trip, one of the wife's life ambitions is to see them!
Mind u there's so much light pollution here u can barely see a star let alone the northern lights haha

Yeah I'm going to go try see them one day. Not guaranteed though so I've always wondered if there's much else there just in case I go and don't want to sit in the cold for days.

Haha well how about visiting the Ice Hotel! It's built every year!
There's always Husky Sledding, and of course
Santa's Grotto!

Been a ice night club before in Ibiza I think I was, could have been somewhere else I can't remember.

Closest I get to an ice bar is getting my Vodka out the freezer! Hehe
Only way to keep it tho!
