Not a good start back

Yesterday I was snowed in, so I decided to put up the curtain rail I had been promising to do every day over the holliday. Like cj I managed to drench myself to and from my frozen solid van.Trying to get the tools I needed. After managing to get my sliding door ( where my safe is)thawed out, I opened the safe only to find the gear I needed was'nt there. My son had loaded the van on the last job before Xmas. I realised he must have put all my drills etc. in the back. it took another 20mins and a few more drenchings to get the back door open. I took me ages to find the tools I needed, (if you saw the back of my van you would know why). I then realised I had'nt got my hop-up, that was in the safe compartment , tried opening the sliding door again, you guest it, frozen solid worse than before. All this went on during a blizzard. Curtain rail still in box.:lol::lol:

I'm snowed in from monday, not good when i have work on too, lol.
I have job to do(could be 200+mtrs) and its a 2 hour drive plus the temperatures are -8 down there so i'm struggling this week !! pure white here all day too, roads not good at all.No gritting in my neck of woods.

No gritters here either, except some main roads,
Went back on Monday, Van iced up, went to get primer from van,you guessed it , frozen solid:yikes:
Almost never made it today, another 2" of snow

It looks like 75%ish of us could be snowed in tomorrow after seeing the weather forecast

little tip, try not to keep silicon sealant in the van in this weather as you all know its a bugger to apply when really cold, take it inside first and warm it up, miles better results. same applys to adhesive lot harder and stiffer to use when cold.
