Similar thin happened to me many years ago when I was about 14 or 15 only I was the know it all in those days. I used to play county league under 16's for Lincolnshire so was reasonably good. Ceraily capable of winning most games in my local British LEgion club where I used to practice. Anyway, one saturday evening this guy comes in and he listens to me boasting and puts his 20p on the table for a game winner stays on and he plays me, absolutely hammers me in the first frame, second frame and third frame.....then he lets me win one and then shows me a few trick shots. Turned out he was England pool champion. I never saw him again but learned some valuable life lessons that night and some really goo trick shots as well.......
