nvq level 2

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a genuine, non rip-off place in Essex where I could sit an NVQ level 2 floor and wall tiling EWPA.

It would be great to chat to someone who has undertaken this route, even if not in Essex and find out all about it!

How long have you been tiling ??

A little under five years, I started with a month resettlement course after leaving the forces and this has been my full time occupation since.
I would like to use the qualification to work with bigger contractors and gain some more consistent work. any thoughts?

The EWPR is by far the quickest way to gain an NVQ a professional discussion to determine your knowledge of the trade and a practical test to confirm your ability and you are good to go as long as you can prove you have five years or more in the trade.

Hi Deano, thanks for your reply, have you done this route yourself, and if so, what was involved in the practical test? Are the assessors tilers themselves or should they be? and also how much should I be paying for this qualification?
