Shall be putting down 6mm hardie before tiling. Suggestions please prior to HB installation.
Going to have a prob at the door entry with height.

As long as there are no major dips in the floor why dont you just tile to the floor?

As long as the floor is true (flat) would not worry about being level .

I would suggest that as its weyrock board that wouldn't be advisable!

Unfortunately not every job you can achieve perfectly level substrates without it becoming very expensive and time consuming.

Yep agree if floor is flat then overboard with Hardi and tile.

Thats going to be a major step up though Dave if I use a SLC. Suppose without cutting the chipboard away and addressing problem, could possibly cope with 8mm diff.

No need to have that floor 'level' imo, as long as it's flat its perfectly fine.

Soz , i looked at the pic whilst on my mobile.. though that was a hump .. so as said by others,, just needs to be flat and not spirit bubble level.

Stick it down with Green Star, plenty of lips on it & it will look like the plumbers done it!!

Anyone can tile!!!

Agree it doesn't need to be on the bubble level. But on the other hand 8mm is million miles away from being a step.
