Anyone done this before? And what was the outcome? If any.

timber floor, very stable and flat. 2.5x2.5m, chipboard.
primed, overlaid with 10mm insulation boards, then tiled. Insulation board and tiles adhered with Tilemaster SPF .

on the way home I realised that I forgot to screw the insulation boards!!!
Floor now tiled.
really don't want to rip it up. Shall I just wait and see?

50/50 m8, I wouldn't rip it up but I think I would tell the client.

In fact screw that, I would just wait & see & if you do get a call back then you could explain it away..

warm up boards ore not advised to be screwed down so I think you may be ok. the whole floor will now be joined with grout nice and strong. I cant see there being any issues...unless you are very unlucky.

Cam, I've always screwed my insulation boards down, whether it's on a screed or wood.
