I had the pleasure of going to Eton Dorney to see the rowing regatta today and can only say good things about how well organised and how well attended the rowing races were today ,we as a nation did ourselves proud and it was run like clockwork ,loads of volunteer helpers called"games makers" helping the organisation, I had a great day out and if the rest of the games are being run as well I must say I am very impressed, british team one a silver to boot

i find watching the games very addictive, turn it on and four hours latter im still watching.

loved the rowing and cycling, i think we excel in those sports, hardly surprising when fuels so expensive everyone rides a bike, and in a tipical british summer most places are 2 foot under water...:lol:
