brains develop more cells by using them in particular ways
eg. do maths, problem solving tests or learn piano. that is great for brain development!!!!
people do have greater abilities to absorb and learn more info than others, due to the size of their brians in the same way as some people develop more muscle than others. thats just individual difference.
are our brains becoming smaller.?? when you rely on computers and technology to do the basics, then you will reduce its capabilities and therefore cause possible future problems.
my dad is in a specialist home for people with dementia between the age of 23 - 65.
all the doctors agree, that stress, lack of use of the brain and diet/lack of movement all affect the brains ability to function, and in most cases, cause deterioration...
so,
plenty of cardiovascular excercise
healthy low fat, high fibre, food with high omega 3
reduce alchohol , because that destroys brain cells as too does pot, cocaine etc
reduce fat build ups in the arteries which store in the brain, causing (vascular dementia)
constantly challenge yourself to grow by doing problem solving based maths.
avoid stress as much as you possible can...cut off, read a book, take a bath whatever chills you out and prevents you from thinking fearfully or worring too much.
in some ways we need to start relying on our brain more, rather than the easy options that do things for us?
