guys! got some quarries to replace on a step tomorow,about half a meter,ive got some keraquick kicking around,is it a must to prime the concrete before laying the tile?

doesnt hurt to prime should give a better bond , why are you replacing tiles

as i said theres about half a metre to be replaced,the rest on the steps are fine,i presume water has got in,froze then blown,thanks!

try to find the problem first if you can could be what you say or paint or the surface is to smooth and may need a little roughing up or it may be a movement issue ,good luck

I would proabably add Latex Plus to the Keraquick to give a bit more flexibility. Tile blown because of frost damage?

I done one on friday, Looked at it last week and gave the women a price. I said £200 all in to do the job. She said thats exspensive. So i get a pad and pencli.

52 quarries. 2x 90 degrees edge tiles £8.
14x Round edge tiles £18.20
and 36 normal tiles £32

Bag of grout bal grey £9
bag keraquick £25
APD (already had)

So thats £93 for materials. Leaving me £107 for doing it. quite reasonable i thought.
