Newbie on here, just ventured over from the plumbing forum.
About to start redoing our en-suite, new shower enclosure, tray, floor tiles, and wall tiles.
My question is, ( and I think I know the answer ), what are your thoughts/views on overtiling, ( wall tiles ), reason for asking is, I've got an idea that most of the plasterboard will probably come off if I start to hit the existing tiles off.
If it does, then I'll just replace the plasterboard, or put a coat of bonding on the walls before tiling, it's a mixture of old stone walls and blockwork walls that have all been dry lined..

Better still replace the p/b with cement boards ......then when your plumbing leaks it won't damage it...........sorry couldn't resist it we love plumbers really. .

Actually, I'm not a plumber I was merely over on that forum doing a bit of research, but I like your humour.
If you're not careful I'll get you over to do it, ( obviously at a huge discount seeing as you took the p#ss ), seeing as you cover the Forest of Dean, lol.
