Cheers Marc, nice to know, I own one of their bucket trowels and it's the best I have used, quite clever how it's designed, big trowel, short handle so doesn't catch the bucket when you lift skim out the tall bucket, so was hoping for the same cleverness in their laser, will stay away. Thanks for the info.
I didn’t say stay away!
I just said that with some more tech stuff, they tend to buy in rather than actually manufacture it.
Doesn’t mean it’s no good D.
Have a look, go with an open mind.
You want to look at beam width and clarity, and try and see how far beam will project, bearing in mind the environment that you’re in.
Get them to demo it in another part of the building if they can, cos the show area may well be excessively lit compared to what you’re used to.
Does it have a pulse feature, so you can use a receiver with it!
Does it come with wall/pole bracket?
Can you mount it on a tripod?
If it has magnets will stick to corner bead through paint & plaster.
Does it come in a hard case with foam protection?
Check out the literature and compare it to Bosch, Dewalt and Leica, see where it comes in the list.
Expensive kit, green lasers, so you’re right to be cautious.
God luck.
