Hi all , wondered if anyone knew if there is a max weight on a box of tiles. Cement seems to be down to 25kg these days.
Was loading out a plot this morning with P'nosa floor tiles ( the name has slipped my mind for a mo ) , 60x60 with 4 in a box and a weight of 34kg , nearly gave my self a bloody hernia.

Diggy :0)

Tile Shop

Settecento have recently had to alter some of theirs.

They do a range call Maya, which includes a size of 490x980x11mm. These used to be (unbelievabley) packed in 12's...... 121Kg's per pack. To despatch them, we had to open the packs and load them on the pallets singularly. Not ideal and used to get damaged during delivery.

They now pack them in 2's weighing in at just over 20Kg's per pack. Much better.

121Kg's??? what the hell were they thinking???? How big are their factory staff?

Aah! Off-topic now sorry. I have potentially got 350sqm of this to fix down early next year.
How do they cut? (I'd be using a Sigma 3em probably).
Thanks!

We didnt have any problems with them.
3em it will be overkill. Just get yourself some veribor glass lifyers fot them.
