Re: Any new tilers stuck at all, with anything?

Hi Dan
Iv been tiling on and off for a few years now. The thing that's holding me back is the paperwork. Quotes, Estimates, receipts, Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Mick.

Mick, if it's the storing and filling and checking of the paperwork side of things then get a local book keeper to help you out. If it's the planning of the quotes and sitting down and working them out then it's a case of fixing a weekly plan or something. Do all your quotes on Fridays or something, then you have the weekend in any free time to sit and work them all out and then post on Sundays if you post them out. Receipts you want to try and give on the day, so get an invoice book with carbon pages in it for the final receipt and keep it in the van? Sometimes the practicality of the quoting, invoicing is to blame. If you can't find a working pen, you might just think oh I'll leave it till later, so just always ensure you have a file or folder or something with ALL of your important paperwork gear with you in the van and take it in at night with you when you get home.

Am I on the right lines here?

What's actually causing you a problem with it all?
