Pensions for every employee

Will this affect any of you guys that have employees?

Could you do without it? Is it a good thing?

I have'nt but would'nt take anyone on because of that, my prices would have to go thru the roof to the cover overheads

you guys are aware though that employee's are auto-enrolled but can withdraw from the scheme if they don't wish to be part of it.

it's just the government trying to force everybody's hand in setting more money aside for the future rather than relying on state handouts.

is it not a pension schem where they have or the company has to offer the option if the employee wants to join,but companies dont actually contribute,or are they saying companies must contribute

the new pension plans that dropped out of the pension act changes Jamie quite explicitly state that the company must contribute also. hence why it becomes expensive for very small companies to take on employees.

I can't find the minimum contribution rates just now Jamie. I'll look for them and post them here when I've found them
