my partner steve , tiling partner that is dont get wrong idea

took our van down to perry,s , vauxhall combo, it goes into limp mode after a while driving it, somet to do with computer chip ,any way perry,s take a look and ring steve up with the diagnosis , right turbo has gone, you need 4 new tyres and , oil change

600.00 oh by the way we have snapped the key in the barrel , the one you gave us was faulty, no it was,nt its the only key we have ever had , and have had no probs with it. why have you only one key, you tell me you sold it to us ,with only one key

right any way it will be 70.00 for a new barrel, were not paying for that you broke it , but it was,nt our fault it was the key faulty

dont do any thing we will collect the van and take it some were else . steve had to pay 70.00 to release the van to him, took it to another mechanic who sorted out prob with limp mode , he just reset the management system or something. 40.00
turbo is fine tyres are fine oil is fine, but apparently perrys have burnt out the starter motor , jump starting the van , im no mechanic but he says because the key was stuck in the ignition and left it activates the starter motor, and all the bumping will burn it out. perrys deny this , so we asked how did you start the van then , im not sure will need to speak with service dept , they have offered to put a new barrel on thats all :mad2::mad2:

That would annoy me something rotten. I'd be getting them to replace the barrel, refund the £70 considering they did more damage than good, and then sticking an article in the local rag about the situation and them trying to charge you for tyres and turbo when they were fine. I'd also be getting them to replace the starter motor too if I could but that might be hard to prove it was JUST their fault (might have been old too or whatever they'd say). And I'd settle for nowt less.

Stay calm.Direct the manager to this thread/forum.

Will he/she, want all this spread around? (as in all around the world)

Whats the managers name? Should we not use this place.?

Let us know if you get good/bad results.

Come on Perrys, sort it ! Nothing like word of mouth. :21:
