Hi guys, just thought I'd share my recent kitchen install all designed and installed by myself, with you and also wanted to say thankyou to those who gave me advice on my porcelain floor installation.

Thanks Dave, bloody hard work using 600x600 and especially starting from the center. . lol. Very pleased with the finished product

I used a 11sqm mat, kitchen is about 13sqm, just want to fire it up now, but gonna wait one more week (that'll be 21 days then)

How did they cut? Did you find any of the cuts straying at all? I only ask as a wet room I did in the summer with the same tiles (Black though) was tricky a few times when the breaking of the tile seemed to have a mind of its own. I was using a Rubi Ti75-S

To be honest, I thought they were one of the best tiles i've cut, maybe because I had to buy a brand new 'big clinker' as they were too big for my other rubi, but answer to your question, I had no probs whatsoever, only slight chipping which was ok as I was hiding the cuts with the new skirting

Looks great well done. Re Jakarta I think they are great tiles for the money, I've done several jobs with them, as i supply and fit, I can build in good margin with them looking more expensive and customers invariably think they look great. You have sealed them i assume?
Re wandering cuts I have found that narrower cuts were prone to breaking off so ended up wet-cutting some, perhaps I need to change my big clinker cutting wheel.
Great job again............wife must be delighted.
