Dont know if anyone else out there does this ,but my pal's a builder and every month he check the local towns planning app and sends out a standard letter to every potential customer with nearly always a job out of it. Theres over 60 jobs ie sunrooms,extensions etc on my local councils site and think maybe a few of them would need a tiler. Has anyone a rough idea of what to put in a letter like this as not to look desperate? All i can think of is offering portfolio,past references, fully insured,reliable and free estimates. Any advice or is this just pestering people because i dont fancy getting meself a bad rep! Cheers

nothing ventured nothing gained,so give them all a letter or chap the door and explain who you are where you found out about building work and can i give you a quote.Not cost you anything for using your initiative.All the best m8.
