I can't think of a reason why it would work on marble and not limestone. And I've tried to find out on the net too but can't find a reason. So I'd be getting the plasplugs out with the blade you know cuts marble and go for it.

My only guess is the slush that limestone might make in the water could be different to the slush marble makes, maybe the limestone can jam it if you let it get too slush around the motor? I don't know though. I'll keep looking on the net and in the mean time you may get a reply from some1 else too. :)

Hi

Has anyone used a Plasplug Contractor Plus Wet Cutter on Limestone? According to the info its not suitable for limestone, although it can be used on Marble.
I have one and a job with Limestone coming up, and the tiles are 20mm thick (oh joy).

If you did use it which cutting disc did you use?

cheers

Limestone is quite soft...should be no problems..do try to put clean water in the tray at regular intervals....Gaz

The next model up from the Contractor Plus, the Master Tiler, cuts Limestone and the only differences between the models is that the Master Tiler is 650w with a disc diameter of 180mm and the Contractor is 500w with a 150mm disc.

Does limestone have a different density to marble?
Master Tiler will be fine, just make sure you have plenty of water available to wash off the table / tile with, like a hosepipe etc.

Job Done :)
