hi guys & girls please help,
can someone give me advise on walls...
What is the best way to prepare an uneven wall ?
Is thier a product which which can be used which is self leveling?
I've started a bathroom which so far i've done well
but am worried about tne rest of the walls as they are all over the place.
Please help :mad2:

Don't know of any product that is "self levelling" for walls. lol. Gravity would just pull it towards the floor.

Normally depending on how bad the walls are, we tilers will use when ever possible rapid setting adhesive to skim over the undulations to flatten the wall out.

If they are really bad, we would normally Dot n Dab new plasterbaord over the top.

What are your walls made from?
 
Heh, speaking of SLC on walls; wasn't there a poster some time ago, who mixed up bags, and used slc to stick up a splashback? I had a good laugh there :rofl:

Anyways. Grumpy's advice is sound.
Skimming with rapid set, overboarding (or simply replacing the walls if they're studwalls), plastering or rendering, are your options. Which is best depends on condition of the walls, and what they're made of.

Skimming with rapid set or overboarding are the simplest and least time consuming options, but sometimes other solutions are better.
