Plumbrs breaking my grout

Finished grouting a bathroom late last night. First thing this morning plumber turns up. Im in kitchen doing splashback and i can hear thumps and bangs like the floors coming through. After he left i looked upstairs to see cracked grout lines on floor.

Is this my problem or plumbers as customer will want it re doing.

has customer seen it was ok prior to plumber wrecking it?

If I had freshly done my grouting the night before then a plumber went in banging like hell, I'd of been up there while he was still there to see what was happening, and wouldn't have waited till he had gone.

You might have problems now

if the adhesive hasn't cured yet there's still time. Two weeks I believe it would take before that adhesive has found its strength so providing you can mix a bit of grout and touch it up, mention it to the customer... you should be ok.

Customer seen it before and after he had asked me to fix it. I would normally say yeah ok but for a price.
Problem is his sister has three bathrooms for me to do so i dont want to start creating a fuss saying its plumbers fault.

Probably best to grit my teeth and bare it.

I would still mention it to the customer, otherwise he will think your work isn't up to standard, just explain what happend and say you will put it right.
