is it possible to polish the porcelain with a car body buffer as i`ve got 33 m2 to finish .and should this be done before or after grouting is done or both

Get the grouting all done, good clean down then a buff.

I've done it before and it came up a treat

YEP!! as above Works a TREAT!! Then seal last, you will only need very small amount of sealer on polished porcelain, so don't get carried away.

Like the idea of the car body buffer will have to get one.

I use a bosch random orbital sander, lambswool or felt buffing pads, come up a treat

I use a Numatic loline332 rotary floor machine, easier than using a car polisher, i use it to buff up any floor i have finished, cost £160.00 on ebay check them out. Its that little attention to detail at the end of the job, plus you can use it for cleaning floor tiles if you have one.
