(Poll coming soon) What brand Silicon do you use the most?

Hi,

Member "larmar" asked me to make a poll to find out what the most used Silicon brand is. We've never done this and I don't know what options to put in the poll so I thought I'd ask here first so you can all reply with some makes for me, list as many as you can, and if you do list a few let us know your favorite as 'larmar' is looking out for opinions on it.

Once I have a dozen or so choices I'll make a poll and get you lot to vote on them.

I have been using ultra colour plus grouts a lot lately, so have been using the Mapesil silicones( 26 colours ) and it's great stuff and virtually no smell.

think that's the same as I usually use too Oli, although my local supplier now stocks Ultra, and it seems nice to use, not as many air bubbles in as DC

BAL at the moment. I find the standard, cheaper BAL Silicon is much easier to work with than the Microseal stuff.

I also find it annoying that they don't call the grout and Silicon the same colour name, e.g. you buy ivory grout but there's no ivory Silicon. :mad2: Apparently champagne is the nearest.

Another nice thing about mapei products, you buy Jasmine grout and then jasmine Silicon!
