Porcelain or Ceramic for wetroom walls

I am getting conflicting advice about which sort of wall tiles to use for a wetroom showering area.
Some say ceramic is OK – others are saying that I should use porcelain.

Can you offer some advice please.

Stick with it Ash, it's just the hands side of it you need but time will tell.....

Just to add, you will never know everything because no one will, new materials coming onto the market....that why I stay here.

thanks whitebeam in my head I have split it into 2 things... hopefully from this site I can get the theory side of tiling and then it is all down to me on part 2.... the hands on side... im pretty fast tbh so the speeds there its just time to start taking my time and getting jobs absolutely spot on!

That's what its about. Speed don't come into it in my opinion. Takes as long as it takes. Having a happy customer is more important than how quickly im in and out of there house.

exactly! I'd rather lose a bit of money on the speed front, and get it looking good. A quick buck now won't get you that referral tomorrow.

Yeh i understand the key is to be actualky good rather than fadt and my attention to detail is increasing thanks each job i do tbh i think the more you get used to fixing tiles the better you can make them look. Thanks lads
