Hi all,

I am starting a kitchen floor tomorrow using 30x30 "UNPOLISHED" porcelain
tiles, i am wondering if there is any treatment/cleaner i should consider, i
am asking as as far as im aware i would only use sealer on "POLISHED"
porcelain...?

Any feedback as always very much appreciated..

I seal ALL porcelain that is not glazed - try the water test - drip a few drops of water onto the tiles - you will probabbly find that the drops look as though they will evebtually absordb into the tile. Once sealed you would delinately see a difference - the water glides across the surface of the tiles in bubbles.
You could do worse than using LTP Sealers ( my preferred brand ) - there is one designed for every application. As a nice touch they also have maintenance products for the customer to use for cleaning - harsh cleaners damage the sealers. If you phone "Specialist Tiling Products" in Harrogate, they will advise and deliver, or point you in the direction of a local stockist.

Hi,

They are a light grey colour, the store just gave me grey grout
and never said anything about needing them sealed, i didnt think
white grout would do on a kitchen floor due to the high traffic and
looking dirty very quickly, but i will speak to the customer 2moro
on it... thanks for the tip!

White adhesive!! Grey grout will be fine, as long as the tiles are sealed :)
