Hi
This is my first post so be gentle  , i have 300*300 polished porcelin tiles i want to fit to the bathroom walls.
This is the problem, fairly newbuild, plasterboard walls :furious3: uneven surface, sh*t workmanship.
I have got the flexi adhesive and grout (boy its expensive). I have tiled quite a bit of ceramics before but have nearly always used 'dot/dab' method, dont abuse me, due to uneven walls etc. I have read that you must use the 'comb' method, is this correct ??. What other issues are they with using porcelin over ceramic, i have got the sealer for the front i believe.??
Also the tiles are a white/cream solid colour and they have, what is hard to describe as watermarks, i was told to clean each tile :whatchutalkingabout with salt/water to get the shine before sealing and fitting, the salt appeared to work but thats a lot of work before i start???.
Sorry to go on, hope it makes sense.
Many thanks
Nick.
