Possible problem!

Hi I have just joined, i am diy tiler, here is my problem. I have to tile around a basin plus a 6" surround, the tiles have to be removed which is not a problem EXCEPT there are tiles on mirror glass. How do i get them off without breaking the glass? At the moment the only thing I can think of is to heat the tile hoping to loosen the adhesive!
Over to you experts who no doubt deal with problems like this every day!

How much of the mirror is tiled over? If a ready mixed adhesive was used then the tiles should just drop off with paint scraper behind them. This should be the case as most tile adhesive will find it very hard to bond well to shiny surface like glass.

If however the they are well and truly stuck onto the glass, I cant think of any way of taking the tiles off without breaking the mirror.

HI I need to keep the mirror as is built in and would be very difficult to replace.
