Prep work to die for!!!

We are in the middle of fitting a kitchen, tiling, and all that jazz...so i asked to use the toilet, the customer has got some other builders in to re-vamp there bathroom, its all ready for the tiler the customer said....so off i trod to the toilet and stumble upon this......not a good start to the day for the tiler lol.....the picture is abit blurry but you can see the prep work is terrible, how can any tiler tile over this, has to be a dot and dab jobby!....a failure is on the agenda if you ask me....had to share lol!!..Forgot to add, its browning not plaster that has been used to patch up, its alot worse around the room, on the opposite wall the rad pipes are stuck out the wall about 4mm...not good!!

Browning on that looks like it'll on the floor at some time......hav'nt seen Browning for a long while for sale anywhere.

Its just dawned on me, the 50 tubes of no nails must have been to fix the tiles on with.....hahaha!!...no there wasnt any really but it wouldnt suprise me lol!!!

Ready to tile :yikes:. Its like when a customer phones you up and says they have a small job that needs done, should only take a couple of hours. I love it when they tell you how long it will take you.

that's a pet hate of mine, it automatically tells me they have no appreciation for what's involved

And most of the time they want it done on the cheap so you lose the job. Those customers still aren't as bad as the ones that think they know it all!
