Hi peeps

As I understand it there are 2 types of screed:
-Anhydrite Screed
-Cement and Sand Screed

Do they need to prepared differently and what is the best way?

I managed to find info in the link below, which has a further link to a Tile Association article on Anhydrite screeds:


Anhydrit - Schlüter-Systems

Sand and cement screeds are to be primed as with a cement floor. With Anhydrite screeds if the finished floor is to be exposed to moisture a watertight membrane is to be installed ie: Schluter-DITRA etc.
