im the same as you bri, but it was something i pick up on in one of kiltys post the other day, i can see there way of thinking, your handling and cutting the 22m2 so why should you not get paid for it.......looks like im going to be up 10% too from now on..:thumbsup:

It's not often I charge by the metre but the next time I do I know I'll be charging a bit more!
 
I normally charge for what is laid if its straight forward job but if there's a lot of cuts and messing about i will charge the 10-15% on top. I'm in the middle of a bathroom at the moment and was that board i counted all the full tiles on the walls 57 and there were 114 cuts and i still got all the bottom to cut in and a load of boxing in to tile, so alot more cuts to do yet

Same here Robson, by default you still have to handle the tile.

If you think about it you should actually charge for handling 22m + time for cuts.

Ever heard of a solicitor or an accountant not charging for 15 mins when doing 2 mins work. When they allocate time it is usually in blocks of 15 mins and thats what the client pays for, unless anyone knows different.
