Prices for drilling holes.

I have bought a fantastic set of drills from 365drills, and i was wondering what prices people charge for drilling holes in tiles? I know this post is BORING :lol:

I just include it in the costing of the job.( hole cutting for pipes )......but if it's bathroom furniture i.e. toilet roll holders etc etc....then charge accordingly as an extra............

Yep, i tend to take it into account before hand. Ask if they need any holes drilled when quoting. If so then assume you will knacker one drill bit per 4-6 holes of porcelain and charge it accordingly.

Bit off topic, but i bought some bits from 356drills 6 months ago and still going strong (drilling in ceramics)

maybe a good way to work out a fair price would be to charge £1 per 10mm

ie £1 for 6mm holes upto 10mm,
£2 upto 20mm
£5 for 50m
£10 per hole for 100m etc etc ec

i agree with dave on pipe as part of the price but these diamond drill bits cost money so they should have a quantifiable return.. just dont get too greedy
