ive noticed alot ov pricing talk advice etc.here i some more, does anyone fr north east have a basic guide for me:stupid:.per mtr wall& floor the whole if poss.:8:

i take it your new to the trade did your course teacher not give you a guideline i would say between £18-£25 ceramic it varies all over the country

I dont charge sqm i just look at a job think how long it will take me. When i first started i did sqm, but thats the way i do it now...much easeir.

I used to have a sqm price, but now as above, I just look at the job and price on how long it will take me.

If you are new to the trade cutmore then be prepared to earn less for the first few jobs as your going to be slower, but after a few jobs your tiling speed will improve, so you spend less time on jobs, making more money per day.

It really depends on the job. Large areas may be better priced on a metre rate, small fiddly jobs like kitchen splash backs may be better on day rate.

Not too sure what the going rate is in your area, but I generally quote on day rates for small jobs ie 5m2 or below then go onto £pm2.
But here is a guide for £s :-
Ceramics 20-25
Porc 30-35
Stone 35-45
Mos' 45-50

You have to look at cuts etc and adjust your price to suit.
