Pricing natural stone

Evening all. Went out the other day to price up a kitchen splash back, easy 3 sq m, said i would charge them day rate. Had a call today saying they have got tiles but natural stone, they couldn't tell me anymore than that. Off out on Friday to have a look at what they have got but i'm just wondering what to charge now. Its a small area and i can't see it taking more than a day but as it natural stone its going to take me longer and i'll have to bill for sealer (addy and grout i always chuck in). Any advice on what to charge? Stick with day rate, charge a bit extra?

aye mate id stick with the day rate and add on an extra 30 to 40 pounds fo rsealing etc....

stick with day rate imo. I'd probably throw the sealing in free too, 3m2 aint gonna use that much!

Did one myself recently told client I would include the sealer in the price and they gave me a £25 tip which was more than I was going to charge to seal. RESULT

Day rate, and if you need to go back the following day for final sealing, just add a little on.......they will like that and could lead to further jobs.
