individual tilers price accordingly to the job, materials and a whole host of other factors. sometimes it has nothing to do with location.

I very rarely do a mtr price unless its a large area with no obstructions or anything else to get in my way. This is rare in a dommestic property, especialy if it is currently being lived in etc.

I preffer to base my work on how long it will take. If it takes me three day I quote the amount I need to earn in a three day period. I wouldnormally add a half day on to this just to cover myself for the unforseen.

I dont tell the customer I will give you a day rate, I simply work out how much I need to earn per day and multiply it by the days in the job plus a little extra.
