had a builder in to day been to tops they told him you should not prime ply showed him a there spec sheet i my self have always primed ply so as he never had a failer nor has he asked him to bring me a copy .anybody seen one

I always ​prime back and edges Ray, face depends on wether manufacturer recommends it or not.

check twice do it once. clip round the ear maybe 30 years ago. but still check twice old habbits die hard.

I don't think you can do that anymore can you?,,,,,,just asked Mrs Doug (she's a welding lecturer),,definitely taboo to clip 'em under lug these days......best not ask if "greasing" is still allowed then!:lol:

Same as Doug for me, if in doubt a quick call to the adhesive manufacturer will sort out if the face of the ply wants to be primed
