Problems with coloured grouts

hi, sorry i couldn't work out how to start a new thread so i've tagged on the end of this one. Every time i use a coloured wall grout (limestione for example) all the joints are uniform in colour and shading but the joint to the ceiling is always alot darker. this has happened with lots of different makes of grout even though i always cut tight to the ceiling. i haven't had any complaints so far but it annoys me. Surely there must be a make of grout out there thet doesn't go a completely different colour every time the joint is slightly deeper or wider. i also recently had trouble with black wall grout being patchy. I've put this down to efflorescence. have tried a few things in the past to sort it out. Don't want to do anything too messy as the black tiles and grout run in to white tiles and grout. porcelanosa 900's. all looks nice except the patchty black.

i always Silicon the joint to the ceiling,try that and you won't have the problem

It could just be a trick of the eye, putting one colour next to another can make the original colour look different although in fact it is the same
