profiling /edging travertine

hi all
been looking at the profiling bits that create the bullnosing on the various jobs posted, that give the install a
professional look,im looking to get set up with the tools,and ive been on stonetools,question is
would the makita dry polisher come with the attatchment to stick the polishing pads to ,and what would be the best pads to buy, i see some are self adhesive ,some you glue yourself, different grades ect

I prefer the dry diamond pads.. this are velcro...

Deffo the velcro as you change them during the process

As above. The Makita variable speed grinder does come with a velcro attachment but, it's 115mm if I remember correctly and the pads are 100mm. Stonetools do supply a 100mm for about £15, worth getting so you have the edge of the pad in your eyeline when polishing.

what about the grades are some used more than others

I've got 200/400/800/1500 grit. 200/400/800 get used the most, the 1500 is for high polished finish, such as marble.

What size profiling wheel have you chosen? I've got a 10mm half bullnose, which takes care of most, trav etc.

yea i thought that to be a good size, ive got a few travertine jobs coming up ,so a bit of practice ,just want to make sure i get the right set up
