Pure Bathrooms anyone heard of them?

Got a call couple of weeks ago, a Glasgow number guy said he worked for a company called Pure Bathrooms, and was looking for a tiler to do an install in Aberdeen following week. 20 to 23 square metres all walls plus floor same tile Porcelain 600x300x12mm all be on site ready. His usual tiler had let him down so could be an ongoing contract as and when required. Joiner and plumber going in Monday and Tuesday to do rip out and first fix then you the tiler in Wednesday then joiner and plumber back in Thursday and Friday to finish! Sorry I said didn’t quite catch that bit, Wednesday? Yes he said to do the tiling, he informed me. So you want me to tile all the walls and floor with 600x300 porcelain, grout, Silicon work Wednesday?
Yes! Was the reply. I cannot and will not try and tile and grout that bathroom in one day I informed him to which he replied he couldn’t believe I would need more time and had never heard of a tiler needing so long!
Am I slow? I usually take around 3 days maybe even another half day for that and that is so long as there is no heated cable?

Also anyone heard of this company, seems the name is down in England also?
I had an insurance company on phone today about a claim that has been put in by a householder in the same area as guy mentioned porcelain tiles to come off whole bathroom walls and floor as householder taking a company to court. Don’t know if this is coincidence or not.

Didn’t want to put this into arms let alone general in case someone on here does their work in other areas, just trying to find out some info for doing insurance side if indeed it is same job

Gone are the days of 10yards2 of Cristal white 6x6 on a commercial job to make your basic then anything above bonus! Haha and paid in cash!

Would be the same as you mate 3.5 to 4 days........and I'm by no means a slow tiler but I won't be rushed..

Does the guy reckon they you are a pair?
To do that in two days everything would need to be in your favour, cutting and mixing right beside the room, tiles outside the door, really good flat walls and a gift of a layout etc. I’d plan for 3 days also.

4 days for me too minimum, might be crap walls, floor might want boarding. Did he want to pay you tuppence per m?
IF it was a good thing, the other tiler would be there.

Found out today he phoned CTD Aberdeen looking for a tiler 2 weeks ago £20.00 per m2 labour only so £460 at most
