Quartz Tile And Underfloor Heating

Hi all wanting to lay quartz tile thoughout the house with piped ufh allot of people saying no however going to do it any way just need to no anyone lay quartz tile with ufh and had success.

If so any thing I should take into consideration

Hi Welcome to the Forum!

The main thing to consider is the suitability of the tile that you are using.
You should obtain confirmation from the tile manufacturer as to whether your particular product can be used with UFH and their recommended fitting process, including adhesives.
This will more than likely determine the success of your project.

If quartz is your tile of choice find a supply of it that can be fixed over UFH.

And most builders I know would not recommend building houses out of straw but i know people who have done so. One was a little pig and yes it cost him dearly. Don't be a little pig. Buy some different tiles...

Thats a definate NO!!! , ive seen quartz from that company curl in sunlight , nevermind a heated floor.

The only quartz i will use on a heated floor is Gulfstone.

I have done a few floors with quartz never occured to me their not recomended for ufh,no problem just move and change me name.

I agree with dave here the only quarts suitable for ufh is gulfstone its the genuine article all others are fakes and prone to warping under heat

know these people well do the best price for jura limestones and in there showroom it says quarts not recommended for ufh your head be it

Gulfstone for me also. I have to ask, if the company says it's not recommended but they know people who have done it. Why would you even consider making a purchase from a company which won't give you a definite answer. It's not a maybe answer it's a yes or no.
