Got a bathroom floor to do soon using resin quartz tile.
Floor boards are being replaced with ply after adding extra noggings 6mm cement boards on top......However there are 2 heating pipes running under the floor leading to a radiator....do you think the heat from them would be enough to cause concern..

No, there's plenty of insulation in between the pipes and the tile.

why not use insulation boards instead of cement boards andy? just to be on the safe side.

Yes was thinking of using marmox boards...

I have heating pipes under my bathroom floor and the tiles get rather warm , so depending on the Quartz I would err on the side of caution as it is but dougs suggestion would reduce heat.
