Anyone ever sealed quartz tiles?
Tiled a splash back for my neighbour & stuck quartz behind the hob (hope it doesn't get too warm) & was going to seal the grout but wondering if & what sealer I could use for the tile also.
Used a lot of quartz but I've never sealed any.

Can't you just use a normal impregnator?

I've only layed quartz once, and I'm pretty sure I used Universeal to seal it.

I use aerosol Universeal to seal grout in kitchens but would like yo seal the quartz if I could.

I think it depend on the makers mate some say do some say don't

I didn't use the aerosol, just rubbed it in with a cloth. Certainly weren't any adverse effects, but you could always ring the tech dept..
